6 I want to be upfront about this, because I think it matters. When I say free, I mean free. No invoice at the end. No “free consultation” that turns into a sales pitch. No subtle pressure to become a paying client. I’m not running IT for Good as a lead generation exercise. What I ask in return is straightforward: Be honest about your situation. I can only help if I understand what’s actually going on. Show up. If we agree to meet or call, be there. My time is limited and I give it freely that works better when people take it seriously. Use what we build together. There’s no point spending time on a solution that sits untouched. I’m also going to be honest with you if I can’t help. If your need is outside my skills, or I’m at capacity, I’ll say so directly and try to point you somewhere useful. Free doesn’t mean low-effort on my end. It means I’ve decided this is worth doing because the people it helps are doing things that matter. I’d just ask that you bring the same spirit to it. Have any thoughts?
