7 I want to be clear about what working with me looks like, so there are no surprises. It starts with a message. You reach out through the contact page, tell me a bit about who you are and what you’re dealing with, and I’ll come back to you. No auto-responder, no ticketing system just a reply from me, usually within a few days. If what you’re describing is something I can help with, we’ll arrange a call or a meeting. I’ll want to understand the problem properly before suggesting anything. I’ve been doing this long enough to know that the presenting problem is often not the real problem, and I’d rather take the time to understand what’s actually going on. From there, it depends on what’s needed. Sometimes it’s a conversation and a clear plan you can act on yourself. Sometimes it’s more hands-on, helping you set something up, reviewing a configuration, or working through a project together over a few sessions. I’m based in the Sheffield/Chesterfield area and work remotely most of the time, but I’m open to an on-site where it makes sense and is practical. I do this alongside full-time work, so I’m not available around the clock. But I take it seriously and give it proper attention. If I take you on, I’m genuinely committed to helping.
