Getting started is straightforward. There’s no formal application, no form, and no assessment process.
Just send me a message through the contact page. Tell me:

• Who you are and what your organisation does
• What IT problem or challenge you’re facing
• What you’ve already tried, if anything.

That’s all I need. I read everything personally and reply to most messages, even if the answer is that I can’t help right now.

I’m based in Sheffield and work mostly remotely. I do this alongside full-time work, so please allow a few days for a response.

I’d rather send you a thoughtful reply than a fast one.

If I can help, I’ll say so and we’ll find a time to talk. If I can’t, whether because it’s outside my skills, or I’m at capacity; I’ll tell you and do my best to point you in the right direction.
